3. NFC Card Activation & Management

Before activating a new NFC card, please remove any previously lost or invalid cards from your account.

Activation steps:

Open the Segway–Ninebot App and connect it to your scooter.

Go to Settings → Security → NFC & Password → NFC Card Management .

Tap the three-dot menu next to the missing card and select Delete .

⚠️ Once deleted, the card cannot be restored.

Tap “Activate NFC Card” to begin registration.

-

Place the NFC card flat against the scooter’s NFC sensing area and hold until you hear two beeps .

-

Confirm the new card in the app — activation is now complete.

4. Important Notes

-

Each scooter can store multiple NFC cards, but each card is unique to one device.

If Bluetooth connectivity is unstable, make sure an unlock password has been set; otherwise, the scooter may not unlock.

Deleted cards cannot be reactivated — you must add a new one.

Keep the card away from strong magnets or metal objects to prevent signal interference.
