EcoHive Support
Used, Open-Box, Like-New, and Refurbished Condition Labels
How EcoHive buyers should read resale condition labels before comparing electric scooter listings.
Condition labels should help buyers understand risk, not hide it. A resale scooter should not be treated as factory-new unless the exact listing clearly says new and the documentation supports that status.
Common labels
- Open-box: packaging was opened, the item was returned, or the item is no longer factory sealed.
- Like-new: very clean condition, but not automatically factory-new.
- Refurbished: inspected and may have been cleaned, adjusted, repaired, or prepared for resale.
- Used: prior ownership or use should be expected.
- Tested return: a returned item that has been checked before resale.
