Charging Port and Charger Troubleshooting

How to document charging-port, charger-light, connector, and intermittent charging problems before requesting support.

Charging issues can come from the outlet, charger, connector, charge port, wiring path, battery management system, or battery condition. Start with safe external checks before assuming the battery has failed.

First checks

  • Confirm the wall outlet works.
  • Inspect the charger brick, cable, and connector.
  • Look for bent pins, looseness, scorching, corrosion, water, or debris at the charge port.
  • Check the charger light behavior before and after plugging into the scooter.

Stop immediately if

  • The charger or scooter gets unusually hot.
  • You see smoke, smell odor, or hear crackling.
  • The port is loose, wet, burnt, or visibly damaged.
  • The scooter was flooded, crashed, or dropped hard.

What to send support

  • Order number and model.
  • Photo of the charger label.
  • Photo of the charger connector.
  • Close-up of the scooter charge port.
  • Short safe video of charger-light behavior.

Do not use mismatched chargers or adapters. Use official model guidance for charger voltage and connector compatibility.
